13 Principles of Wiccan Belief

  

 

There are a total of 8 ranks within The Order of Eternal Light (OEL) which include:  Advanced Practioner, Metaphysical Expert, Grand Metaphysical Expert, Supreme Metaphysical Expert, Priest/Priestess, Apprentice 1&2, Master and PhD in Metaphysics.  We don't believe in forcing our members to tithe 10% of their total income like other institutions do, however, we do ask our members pay a membership due.  The first class has no due but each class thereafter has a class due of $20.  When you consider that taking "individual" classes from another teacher would cost you around $20 for a one hour class, this can get pretty pricey.  Our classes are once per month but last 8 hours.  So if you took 8 hours worth of classes from that teacher then you would pay around $160 ($20x8 hours).  So we believe that asking $20 per 8 hour class isn't asking that much.  If you can't afford the membership dues please discuss the issue with the High Priest.  We don't want money to be the reason you don't join!  Please note that the membership dues do not cover your books, tools or class supplies.  There are no membership dues for holidays or rituals but we do accept donations and gifts.  The free classes for kids ages 8-12 does not include member dues for Spiral Scouts, that is separate!

    

What do the dues cover?  They cover coven expenses such as, but not limited to:  teaching materials, videos, ritual supplies, clergy cloaks, raw materials to make needed artifacts and items, expenses regarding rental space (when applicable), helps other members, that are less fortunate, to get their books, tools and supplies, etc.

Monthly Membership Dues:  Ages 16-Adults $20

                                                      Teens (13-15) $10   

                                                      Kids (8-12) Free...(This does not include membership dues for Spiral Scouts)
